He was stationed at RAF Barrow, RAF Madley, RAF Mona, RAF Market Harborough, RAF Wigsley, RAF Syerston, RAF Skellingthorpe and RAF Broadwell and India. Aircraft flown in were Dominie, Proctor, Anson, Wellington, Stirling, Lancaster, Halifax, and Dakota. He flew a total of 30 operation with 50 squadron, 5 daylight and 25 night. Targets were Bremen, Flushing, Nuremberg, Dusseldorf, Mitteland Canal, Harburg, Duren, Dortmund-Ems Canal, Munich, Heilbronn, Gdynia, Politz, Houffalize, Royan, Merseburg, Karlsruhe, Dresden, and Bohlen.
