Served at South Africa (East London), RAF Dumfries, RAF Desbrough, RAF Chedburgh, RAF Feltwell, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Husbands Bosworth, RAF Prestwick.

Aircraft flown were Anson, Oxford, Wellington, Stirling, Lancaster.

He flew a total of 31 operations (16 day and 15 night). Targets included Louvain, Le Mans, Lisieux, Massy-Palaiseau, Le Hey, Villers-Bocage, Wizernes, Vaires, Châlons-sur-Marne, Stuttgart, Coulon Villers, Bec d’Ambes, Roque-court, Fort-d’Englos (Lille), St Quentin, Stettin, Bremen, Pont Remy, Eindhoven, Boulogne, Neuss, Calais.
