Dear Mrs Warner,

May I first say that our thoughts and prayers here are very much with you now in your sorrow & anxiety over your son

I knew him quite well here I used to see him as he came back from Operations and I wish I could tell you how much I admire his courage & spirit.

You must be very proud of him & believe me, you have more reason to be than you will ever know.

He is very close to you now & you are not alone. You know that he has left us who are here not only a great example but also a job to complete & we must not & dare not fail him & the many others

who have done their share as wonderfully.

I know too that God will be especially close to you at this time. He does not will suffering & death but he does help us to face them. Lean on him now & draw on his love which is the one thing which I have found really helps.

Is there anything I can do, please let me know may God bless & strengthen you, Always.
