Hello all, I’ve not had any more mail since I last wrote; the best time so far is Feb 6th. from Pop but Dick has had one March 12th. so he is more fortunate. I am once more on the camp garden staff and we started work last week. The weather is much better now, after about 6 months of mud we can now sunbathe in earnest – I am very tanned allready [sic] and am looking forward to May 1st. when our local fire tank – cum – swimming pool is to be opened. Betsy no doubt, [inserted] will [/inserted] be pleased to hear that although I had a slight swelling of the paunch (put on during the ‘bed-bashing’ days of winter) it has now gone back to normal dimensions. In fact I am concentrating on getting as fit as poss. under the circumstances, ready for the return home. Our Welsh speaking class is starting again, after a rest, tomorrow and Betsy won’t have a hope of overtaking me. Well, all for now but sure the sun is just beginning to shine again – Lots of Love. Brian xxx
