Kay Darling.

Your letter of Fridays to hand. I am indeed extremely pleased you have written to my People & sent them the snaps.

What a pity you couldn’t have managed the weekend, but actually the Hotels are full[deleted]y[/deleted], I expect it is because of the Bank Holiday. Although I could have only seen you for half an hour, pretty busy lately.

I realized afterwards that it was the 3rd of Oct 35, but it was asked me over the phone & for a spur of the moment I couldn't think of it.

I will pay my bet next time I see you so we can bust the £1

together.

Tomorrow my sweet I have to go for another interview with the A.O.C.! It looks as though at long last things might happen.

Yes. My Darling, have fixed a few for you.

Incidently [sic] I found my other coller [sic], but left my blue wool type shirt, will you kindly send it along with the one Ma is getting repaired.

One thing Dearest, I don’t like mentioning it, but if you have a wire saying I am U/S or something, you come over by train to Woodhall and see the Adjutant, who will give you the necessary permission to take the car home, 10/1 it will be on the Car Park at the Flights.

Good bye Darling & God bless you.

Yours always
