Kay Darling.

Have a short break so thought I must drop you a line, I am a day behind.

Yes, Darling I’ve rather a lot to do tonight so can not spend a great deal of time.

Many thanks for your letters of Sunday & Monday. I also received the pyjamas okay.

The Battery set has been fixed up superb, it really works fine, we fixed up an arial & earth & ‘bang’ it really works – full blast, don’t think I'll swop it for the portable, what do you think? The transformer was apparently burnt out, the chappie re-

wound it for me.

Had the interview & will know the results later, think I did alright.

Maybe I shall be able to pop over & see you, afraid I can’t tell yet if it will be possible, don’t know whats happening until 5 mins before it does. But that is always the trouble If poss I will send a wire.

I should imagine the Insurance was for the Riley – just against fire & theft, but it should have been cancelled the day Johnnie took out his policy.

Sorry Darling that I mentioned about the car, but one has to take precautions Give my love to all & Scrim, also I should call in for the photos.

Today we had a photograph taken of the whole Squadron – should be good. I ordered one – 6/=.

All my love sweetheart
