Dear Mum, Dad & Fmly, [sic] Received another 4 letters, - two from Pat, one from Mr Devonshire (Stock Control) & 1 from you dated 21st Aug. Ive [sic] also collected 400 cigs sent from Unilevers. It seems that Gordon Dupries the Canadian is still missing in my crew, all the others are OK, according to John’s Parents, but not by your letter. I’m glad to know you are all OK still. Pat seems to visit you quite a lot now. I’m very well here, though longing to get home again. The weather is pretty miserable & the evenings seem long. Just had advice of my commission from Geneva. Cheerio for now, love Reg
