Description

Pilots flying log book one for R Wareing, covering the period from 26 February 1939 to 16 February 1942. Detailing his flying training, operations flown and instructor duties. He was stationed at RAF Waltham, RAF Bexhill, RAF Prestwick, RAF Sealand, RAF Finningley, RAF Coningsby, RAF Upper Heyford, RAF Cottesmore and RAF Upavon. Aircraft flown in were Magister, Tiger Moth, Oxford, Anson, Hampden, Hereford, Blenheim and Whitley. He flew a total of 29 night operations with 106 squadron. Targets were Brest, Elbe, Lorient, Hamburg, Bremen, Kiel, Berlin, Cologne, Mannheim, Hannover, Dusseldorf, Duisburg, Soest and Vegesack.
