In confirmation of my telegram dated 6th January 1942, according to information received from the Royal Air Force Station, Gibraltar, your husband No. 742570 Sergeant Jack Lamport NEWTON of No. 12 Squadron, Royal Air Force, previously reported as ‘interned,’ is now ‘safe’ and has arrived at Gibraltar.
You will, no doubt, be hearing from him in the near future.
