Darling, I have been indulging in a perfect way of spending, so that it is too late to go home & write you a long letter. I’ve bought some chamois leather to make a waistcoat for Barbara’s Christmas present (windproof to wear when autobyking etc) price 10/- - and 2 prs of stockings for me! They so rarely have my size in that I decided to be a devil & get some, artificial silk ones of good make. I’ll probably draw some out of my P.O.
Hope you got home safely & pleasantly. Good luck at Halton.
All my love
Ursula.
