My dear Rosemary
Many thanks for your P.C. which we were glad to receive & to know that you had arrived back to school safely.
What a pretty card! both Mummy & I like it very much
I’m glad to say that I am quite well again but Grandma is not too well she has got a pain in her back and has stayed in bed today.
The Doctor has given her some tablets & medicen [sic] & we hope that she will soon be well again.
Mummy seems to be starting with a cold but she
[page break]
is taking precautions & I trust that it will not develop.
I am flying over to Paris on Sunday in the Jet Lancastrian & will return on Tuesday so I shall have a very brief stay this time.
I hope to spend Sunday evening with the Pireteaux & shall be glad to see them after such a long time.
How are things going at school after the break? I expect that it will take a few days for you to settle down.
Mummy is sending you some nice apples which I’m sure you will enjoy. With much love from us all. Yours ever
