Just a few lines to let you know that Mummy is sending you a tin of jam & some sweets, I hope that you will enjoy them my dear.
Thank you for your letter written on Sunday & I’m glad to know that you received the parcels safely & enjoyed the contents.
Do not let the school work worry you my dear, you will do all right, never fear & soon you will have half term & a nice break.
A pity about the Hockey Match being scratched but I hope that you have had better weather since.

Mummy is sending your letter on to Auntie Mabel oh! & by the way when writing of a vicar you should say the Rev: Dibben you know, it looks better really; does’nt [sic] it my dear?
Well! nothing much has happened here except the usual round & common task Emily is away with her people for a few days, Mummy is busy with the house etc:, I’m busy at the works.
Auntie Enid & the children came for the day on Wednesday & sent their love to you. We are all well & cheery & hope that you are the same. All our love to you my dear daughter
