Dear Miss Weeks,
[underlined] Aus/417512 Flight Sergeant PAYNE, M.H. [/underlined]
Advice has been received through the Australian Air Board to the effect that the above mentioned member’s next of kin have nominated you to take possession of his bicycle, and it is presumed you will have no objection, instructions have been passes to this late Unit for this to be forwarded to you.
2. It is anticipated that owing to the existing transport difficulties, there may be some delay in the machine reaching you, but it will be appreciated if you will advise this Headquarters in due course, of its safe receipt by you.
