Description
Apologises for not having written recently. Comments on brothers fountain pens numbers and his activities with cadets. Asks if he had done any live firing yet. Comments on his progress at school and says there is nothing he could get him. Mentions he is still looking out for a penknife and that it was difficult to get cigarettes due to queue in the NAAFI. Says they do not get Saturday afternoons off and shops are closed in the evenings. Last two pages have cartoon drawings of people, in the NAAFI and asleep.
