Dear Winnie. How is my charming invaild [sic] to-day? – I can only add that if the answer is not a message of improvement I shall be most annoyed. Tell me dear, how do you relieve the depressing monotony of being bed-confined? I suppose you read quite a lot, have you developed any hobby or other ways to pass the time? do write to me about it.
I am fortunate to have the oportunity [sic] to frequently visit Tel Aviv where I have a friend (an English lady) who makes me quite at home in her house. She also cooks some really mavellous [sic] English meals for us (my friend and I) and we really feel at home at her place. I wish you could meet her I’m sure you would like her. We are having a cold spell at the present time with a fair amount of rain, but it won’t last long, we shall soon have [deleted] bil [/deleted] brilliant sunshine with us again. Please continue to keep your chin, remember I am thinking of you. Love Frank. XXX
