Bawtry Bind

I’m one of the Airforce G.D’s
I’m fighting a war if you please
Cleaning steps and floors on my knees.
Everything smells musty
I swear I’m going rusty,
Sweeping and dusting,
While waiting remustering.

I’m one of the Air Force G.D’s
Cleaning Ablutions and W.C’s.
Brushing and scrubbing,
Polishing and mugging
It’s such a frustration
To clean up the Station. -----
Won’t someone, somewhere
Remuster me PLEASE.

Envy

We don’t envy the wrens for their sailors’
Their adventures on ship and on shore.
Their handsome Officers and lieutenants
Their dances and parties galore

We don’t envy the Wrens for their quarters
Their sailings, their berths and their [deleted] moorings [/deleted] [inserted] dockings [/inserted]
Their boasts of being of the ‘Senior Service’
But -- We do envy their real silk stockings.!
