Dear Jean

Just a few lines to let you know I got back O.K. met the other two lads and we all travelled together. As usual the train was late, we finally arrived in Banbury three-quarters of an hour late. After finally collecting our bicycles we arrived back in camp at 4 a/m of course today we had a navigators exercise, naturally not up my street, my brain was only working at 50% normal, (I know 50% nothing is still nothing).

The weather now is simply terrible, its rained hard all day and I've got to go down on Link trainer at 9.30. just when I want a nice sleep!

Well that's all for now, look after yourself.

Yours Jack.
