Dear Jimmy.

I received your most welcome letter yesterday and was sure glad to hear everything is going alright with you. You’re the first of the old crew I have heard from.

Congratulations on taking on a better half, I hope your as happy as Jock and myself have

been, by the way were [sic] expecting a third number to our little family. Were [sic] doing alright for ourselves. We have our home and car and a good job. I work for a wholesale grocery Co.

Well how does it feel to you having to go back to work. It’s sure a change from the lives we have been leading.

I wonder what Kennie is doing with himself now he’s probly [sic] back in N.Z. by now, but I haven’t heard from him since I came home. He was always a poor one for writting [sic] anyway.

I was up to Chuckie place about a year ago but he wasn’t home so I missed seeing him. I may run up some week-end

soon. Jimmy if you ever get a chance to to [sic] get Butch Bassett’s address will you send it to me. He only lives a few miles from me and I’d like to get up to see him.

Helen sends her best and says when you write Ena & Dennis give them her regards also mine. Well I close for now write me again soon.
