Kay Darling,
Just received your letter of Thursday's date. Glad to hear [indecipherable word] has arrived - Harding I believe you said her other name was.
I should imagine the larger [indecipherable word] – photos – are ready by now.
I've received the enclosed from Tommy, can you do anything about it?
As far as I can find out it will be yes tomorrow, that is the [indecipherable word] up to press. That rather fixes the weekend, would it be possible to travel on a Sunday if I sent a wire?
No Darling, we had another Dance at the mess but yours truly didn't
[page break]

go. Ian & I played tennis. I don't suppose they'll run any more, as they are not a success, just a booze up.
Carrying on as usual nothing fresh to report, except I checked the timing on the car myself & found it definitely late, she should be much better on petrol now, & certainly runs 100% better.
Ian should have his crown very shortly, apparently it was due two months ago, the Canadians have them quicker than we do; maybe I shall get some of my dough back then?
Have not heard from [indecipherable word] so dropped him a line!
Goodbye Darling
Yours always
