Kay Darling,
Thanks awfully for your nice letter. I am glad I'm in favour – leaving that little note.
Yes, darling, I think Mac really enjoyed himself, we managed a short game of tennis yesterday, but am afraid my racket grip is U/S, will have to take it into town & have a new binding of leather on it.
Poor old Ian has been very quiet lately he goes to bed directly he can, he's really trying to go ease [sic] & save money, he stills [sic] owes me the same amount, but as he's really trying to get square I don't feel so bad about it.
Have the Pay accounts going for me over income tax so have refered [sic] them to Tommy, will you please confirm the address – Messrs Taft, Baldock & Winstanley, St Peters Walk, Nottingham. Thanks dear.

letter & parcel yet? I really wonder if she liked the ring?
The Riley looks really wonderful & I [indecipherable word] she's running better than ever barring oil consumption.
Did I mention that we should be having leave about the 14 of next month?
Afraid I haven't any more news, everything under control. 'Yes,' dearest
All my love
Yours always
