Morning.
Kay Darling,
I went to the Eagle Lodge yesterday to see if they could fix you up for a couple of days or so, but on the way I heard that I should still be on duty, so all being well I maybe able to do something Tuesday, will send a wire directly I can
The Skipper had his girl over this weekend, but was only able to spare 1 hour out of 24. I told him I wanted you over, but he advised me to wait for a day or two.
I am absolutely tired out, sleeping during the day doesn't seem to enable you to catch up, its not the same.
How are you spending Whit, I've missed you darling, if only we had been off this weekend, it would have been lovely.
Just going to have a cup of
[page break]
2.
tea at our little pub.
Have you been reading the papers lately?
Please excuse scrawl, I am writing this on my knee in the Pub.
Afraid I haven't much in the news line, only that I know there are hundreds of better ways to spend whitsun than sitting here.
I am going down to the Billet now to get some sleep.
Goodbye Darling
See you soon
Yours always
