Dear Mum, Dad & Fmly, [sic] Received another welcome letter from you on the 18th Sept & also one from Pat. Yours was dated May 8th. Of course they are almost history now, much must have happened since then. I’m sorry to say that I’ve had no parcels as yet, but perhaps I shall never need them, I hope so anyway. I’m glad to hear news of Ross I often wonder about him, but he will be OK I’m sure. Weather here has turned wintery – hope it isnt [sic] here to stay. I’ve seen another show recently it was up to standard as usual. I’m still well & fit so do not worry. My love to all.
