Dear Mum & Dad, Another good week for mail, I’ve received 8 letters, 1 from you dated 26th April, 1 from Maisie, 2 from Herons & 4 from Pat, in all I’ve had 39 letters! About the allotment arrangement I think its OK to keep it as it is, then you can use whatever you want & bank the rest. Thanks for dispatching the parcels, I’ve received none yet, but I’m OK still without them, don’t send anymore cigarettes I don’t think its worth while now. My hopes for end of war rise more everyday & Im [sic] certain it will not be long. The weather remains exceedingly fine & is very warm & seems pretty good [censored words] Love to all,
