Dear Joan
Writeing [sic] you a few lines hoping this to find you in the best of Health [sic] and all right, pleased to receive your letter all right, and I must say I am so pleased to read the letters from Robert and he is safe, and getting on fine, I hope he will be home before long, and that he may be spare [sic] back once more, and be able to meet once again all at home, it will be a blessing when all is over for every bodys [sic] sake, when they all can return to there [sic] homes.
Well I have let is [sic] Aunties & Uncles see the letters you sent

which was good of you to do so, I sent word to is [sic] Auntie Annies [sic] at Sheffield to let them know, but Willie's up at the Farm as [sic] not been down no one of them, so I thought I had them long enough if you wanted any one to see them, and I dont [sic] get up there, to take them up, will close now to catch post With All The Best Of Luck & Best of Love
