Once again no mail. Your precious letters have for some time been arriving in bundles but only once a month. Have had a few small anonymous tobacco parcels recently. Everybody is most kind but I wish I knew who they were. Am still practising violently – in my incinerator. In the opinion of the camp I’m “round the bend” (or mad) a common disease here. However I’m firmly convinced that I’m sane enough despite my taste for curious practice rooms. We’re getting [censored words] nowadays & all anxiously awaiting action somewhere. Are you hearing us? Hope you & darling daughter will have a holiday this year. Am a bit anxious about Leslie these days. Hope he is safe. Love to both John.
