Many thanks for your letter and good wishes
Yes – your daughter is a charmer. Being a firm young woman she occasionally squawls [sic] when she doesn't get her own way but almost always she is so smiling & glad to see people, dances about, & is so busy with her dolls admires herself in the glass combs her hair – powders her face (when she gets the chance & is at times consciously funny – do you say she was much interested by the launch.
Yr Mother is at 42 PTA yesternight & tonight settling them in
