Description

Two versions of the same strip with enlargements of all slides.
Slide 1 - captioned 'Joyce and her MT divers "joined in" on sports day GD 45/6?'. Six women, one on left in uniform, the others in civilian dress, four standing two sitting by the cab of a lorry.
Slide 2 - 'Pete Griffin r/g and Frank Pearman 'play' patience in hut 21 GD'. Two men wearing uniform shirts sitting at a table. The man on the left plays with cards the man on the right looks on.
Slide 3 - captioned '"Blondie" and Morros feed the starlings GD 1945'. Two men sitting on top of a petrol bowser with the nose of a Stirling in the background.
Slide 4 - captioned 'Halifax on GD also need fuel tankers at the ready'. Head on view of a Halifax with two petrol bowsers in front. Tress in background on left. Additional information about this item was kindly provided by the donor.
