Flying log book for J T Brittain, air gunner, covering the period from 20 may 1944 to 14 July 1945. Detailing his flying training and operations flown. He was stationed at RAF Morpeth, RAF Silverstone, RAF Turweston, RAF Chedburgh, RAF North Luffenham, RAF Feltwell and RAF Wratting Common. Aircraft flown in were, Anson, Wellington, Stirling and Lancaster. He flew a total of 13 operations, 8 Daylight and 5 night, Targets were, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Kamen, Wesel, Datteln, Kiel, Heligoland, Bremen. He also flew 4 operation Manna to Rotterdam and The Hague, and 3 operation Exodus to Juvincourt.
