Just a line to say that Mac has fixed up a car next Sunday. His wife is staying at Baldock and the programme is to collect you Sunday morning then Mary and all go over to see Con – coming back the same night. Have written to Con and told her not to worry about grub unless she can raise a chicken from

Limness. Eggs & so will be quite enough – with rationing & so forth. I’m staying at Hammersmith Saturday night. Do hope you can make it – but if you can’t just leave a message when we call or get in touch with Mac (R1V IIIS).
