Includes letter describing in some detail his first operation and mentions that they had been briefed for the second one. Speculates on getting leave. Mention telegram informing that he was missing but safe. Describes forced landing after operation to Torino. After internment, all crew returned safely and resumed operational flying. Mentions crewman Sergeant Willis awarded MM and Sergeant Blaydon being killed later while serving with 582 Squadron. Includes a poem written by Harold on a post card. Continues with account of life after the war.
