Have just started on your cake, (visiting dentist tomorrow) its very nice, shall be trying Mothers soon, shall have quite a good supply of cake if my two sparing partners don’t find [deleted word] it.

a 48, in some weeks time.

The car ran perfectly the whole way back, have got a garage so everything is alright and the car is under lock and key.

I sent Mother a card yesterday and shall be writing to her tomorrow, in this case you should receive a letter every other day, dont know if I can keep it up but will try.

Yesterday I was fool enough to let the boys persuade me to play football for them, by about half time

I was on my knees, could’nt hardly run a yard, and boy are’nt I stiff this morning, every bone seems to creak when I move.

Cheerio for the moment, all my love darling and take care of yourself

Yours

Jack
