Dear Miss Myers,
It was with profound regret that we heard of the death of your Father. There is little we can say that will alleviate the shock your Mother and yourself must be suffering from. We can only express our sincere sympathy, as we too shall miss him very much. He was greatly liked and respected by all at Head Office.
We have written to Mr. Ramskill asking him to attend to the paying over of Funeral benefit, and no doubt you will be hearing from him in a day or two.
Yours sincerely,
[signature]
General Secretary.
