I acknowledge your preliminary application in respect of the above licence, which has been accepted in Category "C" extension to include D.H. Gipsy Queen 70 engines.

If you can attend at Room 149, Cornwall House, Stamford Street, S.E.1 (as indicated below), on Thursday, 24th August, 1950, at 1.30 p.m. for the written examination, please complete and return the accompanying M.C.A. Form [deleted letters] /2D together with fee of £1. 0. 0., at least five days prior to the date of examination.

If you are unable to attend at the above time, please inform me without delay when you are able to do so, and retain the M.C.A. Form pending further notification of examination arrangements.
