Dear Win,
Glad to hear that Broach arrived safley [sic] at last.
I’m not certain whether I shall get home or not over the week-end as I might get posted.
At the moment we are having such an easy life we don’t want to move, we are on permanent day gaurd [sic] we do 1 hour on 3 off, that means we do 3 hrs work

a day. We also get a chit which allows us to be in the Church Army when every one else is banned, and one for going down to meals and not having to que, [sic] be given priority.
As we on this day gaurd [sic] we do not have to do any night duties, so you can see it’s a marvellous [deleted] scounge [/deleted] scrounge.
