Dear All,

Miss Thomas gave me the splendid news about Ronald early this morning and, believe me, all at home and at the office are delighted.

I thought first of wiring you, but wires give one such a shock at these times and you have had enough without me adding to them.

However, I [underlined] do [/underlined] congratulate you on your good fortune – you have been very brave and richly deserve your reward.

I cannot express quite what I feel, so will just wait until I see him.

Kindest regards,

Yours sincerely,

LANCASHIRE DYNAMO & CRYPTO LTD.,

A. Pollitt

CHIEF DRAUGHTSMAN.
