Dear Mr. and Mrs. Riding,

The Cubs and I would like so much to say how very sorry we are to hear Ron has been posted "Missing".

To us all he has been, and always will be a hero in every sense of the word and we shall continue in the future as we have done in the past, to pray for his [underlined] safe return. [/underlined]

In the meantime may you both be strengthened with courage and fortitude during the very anxious period of waiting for news comforted, we hope in small measure, by the thought that many, many loving hearts are hoping and waiting too, with you.

Sincerely yours
Tiny Parkinson
