Dear Mum, Dad & Fmly, [sic] Received 4 letters this week, 1 from Margaret Heron, 2 from you & one from twins, dated October. Your letters seem to be coming through occasionally & up to date, but Pat’s are slow these days, do you know if she’s writing seamail? Sorry to hear about Paddy Keenan’s death, this makes me doubly thankful, I have been extremely lucky. I’ve seen the show “Springtime for Jennifer” it was wizard – I shall be very critical of West End shows after this. I’m still keeping amused & occupied OK, I’m fit & well, but evenso [sic] could eat more, wintertime must be the reason. Cheerio now – everything to hope for in the New Year, love
