Dear Mum, Dad & Fmly, [sic] I received a letter from May and Vera dated 17th April on the 3rd Aug, & I also received 3 letters from Pat enclosing photos, which were very good, thanks for taking the portrait, Dad. From all your mail I now have a good idea of how you spent Easter. I expect now you will be having your Summer holidays. I hope everyone is well at home under the present conditions. I am as usual quite fit, the weather has been kind this last week plenty of sunshine brightens life up immensely. We have a new show coming “The Barretts of Wimpole St.” hope to see it soon. – What’s the chance of seeing you at Christmas? Cheerio, Love to all
