My dear Mum, Dad & Fmly, [sic] It is with great joy that I can now say I have received two letters. They are both from Mr & Mrs Heron dated 22nd and 27th March. Though not from you it is a tremendous relief to know everything is well at home, I am expecting mail from you and Pat any day now. I hope it will be full of news when it comes. Things here have not changed very much recently, the weather is changeable but generally very warm. I am very well and keeping quite fit and the time passes quite quickly these days. I must close now so Cheerio, Love,

[underlined] Reg [/underlined]
