Dear Mr & Mrs Wilson,

Thank you for your letter also the card with the good news. We are all delighted to hear your son is a prisoner. We received a [deleted] card [/deleted] Wire from Air Ministry Friday night to say that our son F/O. L.A. Underwood is a prisoner in German Hands.

We had a letter from Mrs Bushell saying that she had received a card from her son Sgt J Bushell R gn, He is a prisoner in Germany.

So that is 3 safe isnt [sic] it. I hope that the other 5 are safe, as we got to know that another Pilot was with them that night.

If we receive any more news of the crew I will let you know.
