Dear mum & dad,
Just a line or two to let you know I arrived back alright and am still fit and well.
I had a grand leave and it's certainly good to see you all so often. Hope by now David has pulled round properly and is his usual self again.
Derek hasn't improved any so Vera says nor has her mother so she'll be kept pretty busy poor lass I wish we had our own home.
Hope Arthur's party went off well, I'd like to have been there too.
I forgot to tell you that Grandad has some coal-bricks for you mum sorry. I'll write again when I replenish my writing paper. Keep well & God Bless You. Ken [kisses]
