Glad to hear from you, & hope you are having a good time at the dances. I have been away for a week on a Gunners Grounding Course and managed to scrape through as Grade I so now I am happy and a red hot gunner – so is our tail gunner so we have a Ripping Crew – we have earned the name of Crazy Crew already so God knows what we will be called when they realy [sic]

get to know us. We consist of Skip – N. ZEALAND Bomb Aimer NZ WOP. NZ NAVIGATOR Brittish [sic] Guana [sic] flight engineer scotch (Mid upper AG. ME) tail gunner Rochdale so we are a mixed lot and believe me when we do all go out we just go haywire and remain so. Well I will have to shut up and Get Weaving.
