TO:- MISS MARIE HOGAN
61 CHAPEL ST,
[indecipherable words]
AUSTRALIA

Sender & Address A436464 Sgt Hogan [indecipherable] RAAF [indecipherable] LONDON 21.4.44.

Dear Marie,

I have just received your letter [indecipherable] dated 31.6.43 – not really bad service and am pleased to note you have received [indecipherable] my last efforts. However you must be [indecipherable] for quite a word yet. I was really surprised to find that Eileen likes [indecipherable] as I only wrote her last night to [indecipherable]. I had a letter from [indecipherable] in which she states [indecipherable]. He is on his way again I hope it will be forwarded on. Let me know his new address when you get it.

Pleased to know your sojourn at [indecipherable] was as deserved and that the [indecipherable] treated you so well. Glad to know all the family. I take it that includes [indecipherable] are well and was hardly surprised to find they were busy.

Things are going along just the same with us [indecipherable] doing a bit more work than previously and find it very interesting. The only decent show I’ve seen lately is the stage production “Blithe Spirit”. It has come here after an extremely long season in London and is very good.

I notice you’ve had no surface mail from me and I hope they do not all go astray from I must have written a dozen since leaving. In future I’ll number them (start with 13) & you’ll know whether they are arriving. Regards & love to all the family,
Pat.
