Two versions of same item. Eight airmen wearing battledress and peaked or side caps. Six standing by the rear fuselage door of a Lancaster and two sitting in the door. On the reverse 'L-R Steve Harper, Fred Phillips, Dave Goodwin, Clive Thurston, Joe Naylor, Ron Wynne. In door L-R, Stan Williamson, Tom Jones, Sept 1944, 7 Squadron Bomber Command, RAF Oakington, 8 Group PFF'. This item was also submitted with caption 'Fred Phillips DFC & Bar (2nd left) with his crew. They were known as “The Lucky Crew” having completed 64 operations. 7 Squadron PFF, RAF Oakington 1946 [sic]'.
