Dear Mum, Dad, Yvonne & Moira.
Just received your letter of Jan. 17. & A.G from Dad. Glad you’ve found BOMBER COMMAND Glad you are working hard Fishy, you’ll find it was worth it when you pass. No, I didn’t receive anything from the [deleted] first [/deleted] firm at Christmas. Don & I were very amused Mum, at your “Get a photo in sombrero & boots.” I suppose you think we go round the camp, like cowboys. Actually our hats are winter hats like the trappers wear, with ear flaps, which tie at the top of the hat when not in use. Actually we are only 40 miles from DAKOTA, in USA, which is real cowboy land in the summer. We flew over there last week I shall probably go down there on one of my week-end leaves. You are lucky to get all that at Christmas, Fishy. I hope you soon get the parcel I sent for you all. I have now posted another small parcel containing 6 shampoos, 3 lipsticks, 2 pkts razor blades 2 Canadian brooches & 2 lbs chocolates. I’m afraid they will be very mashed up when you receive them. I think there was something else, but I can’t remember now. The weather has now much improved, & we are getting the hours in. Mum needn’t worry about my drinking. I’m not having much during this course. Too much depends on it I am just finishing a 48 hour leave. I stayed here & went to a couple of dances in Weyburn. They were quite good. That’s all for now. Love Terry IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN SEND YOU DAD
