Dear Mr Geach,
I was very pleased to receive your communication of the 29th. ult., but unfortunately our letters must have crossed in the post.
I think I covered most of the points your raised but with one exception – your son’s belongings.
In accordance with Air Ministry instructions they have all been carefully collected, including the “Lucy Atwell” calender, [sic] and forwarded to the R.A.F. Central Depository, Colnbrook who will be writing to you in due course.
Again assuring you of my sympathy in your anxiety.
