Dear Daddy,
I hope you are very well. [word deleted] Please thank mummy for [character deleted] her letter. It hardly seems true that there are only three more weeks Tuesday. [deleted] left [/deleted] We had a match on Wednesday v. Stoke which we lost 3-4 [inserted] lost 2nd XI 1-2.[/inserted]. There was also one [character deleted] yesterday [character deleted] v. Tyttenhanger which we lost 4-1, 1st XI, [character deleted] 5-0 2nd XI. [deleted] We have a [/deleted] There is only one more match left, v. Ladycross next Saturday. [character deleted] Mr. Grant gave a lecture on “architecture”, last night. The weather has been foggy and foul today. So far we've only had one match put off, which is rather good. I can't think of any more news. Much love from.
