Below the inlet and between road and river is a large basin with docks running off the top side. At the right hand end two ships are moored. There are a line of bomb explosions along the bottom side of the basin from below the mouth to about one third way along. Roads and dockyard buildings surround the basin. Captioned 'Rotterdam 23.3.43 487 & 464'.
