& we call him “Henl[inseted]e[/inserted]y – otherwise I can think of no news – we are going over to Henley next week to see Ian row, Daddy has high hopes of his boat, but I feel it is too much to hope that they can get anywhere near the finals.
I am glad your house did not quite blow up -
We continue to have constant thunderstorms here, one every other afternoon but the weather is really very pleasant on the whole, warm but quite fresh -
Norman & I are going down to Cornwall from Aug 10th to Aug 24th so we shall not be here when you first come home
I must go & post my letters
