NEWLANDS,
SEAFORD,
SUSSEX.
[underlined] Nov 25th 1928 [/underlined]
Dear Mrs Donaldson,
At a dinner last night I met Mr Fletcher and naturally made enquiries about David's welfare. Curiously enough he had been discussing him with his form master the day before and had been told that David had suddenly found his feet about a week ago and was doing really good work. His form master was delighted with him and expressed the opinion that his abilities were very much of the same order as Ian's.
[page break]
Everyone is very keen about the new panelling in the school room. It is all to be done during the Christmas holidays
Yrs very sincerely
